So today (or rather a few weeks ago) marked a new chapter in the Vang family books. At 6:13am Monday morning, December 6th, a rather soundly sleeping Hmooj was suddenly awaken by his wife who forced him to get out of his warm and comfortable bed and come to the bathroom. On the counter laid this little white thingy:
Seeing as my eyes were still clouded by a dream I have since forgotten about, and the shock of the extra cold bathroom tile floor, it took a second for me to register what this was that I was looking at. I put on my glasses at this point and look closer. “Hmm, one line. Two lines. What does two lines mean?” (duh, look to the left genius)
“OMG OMG OMG OMG! Are you serious?! Wooo hoo!”
Okay, I didn’t scream it outloud, but I thought it in my head really loudly! Yes, Evelyn and I are expecting! Finally, after 10+ years of marriage, it comes down to two lines on a white stick thingy. A new chapter. A new life. I can’t wait to tell our parents. They’re going to FREAK!
